Hello, and welcome to Technology for Living.

The title may be a little misleading to some. This blog is concerned with helping people move beyond where they perceive themselves to be now and become the person that they wish to be. This blog will be a technology-centric view on how this can be done.

Why should it be important?

Technology serves one purpose and one purpose only: to enhance lives. The purpose of any piece of technology is not really to do whatever the designed function is. The purpose is to enhance the life of it’s user. A car’s purpose is not to simply roll down a road. A car’s purpose is to get people from point A to point B faster than they otherwise could. This applies to any technology you can think of.

When I use the word “technology”, I am not necessarily talking about computers or machines, although much of modern technology is based on these. Technology, at its heart, is nothing more nor less than a way of doing things. When our ancestors realized that words could be written down so that they would stay, that was a huge technological advancement. When we realized that if we put the plants and animals we want near us and tend to them instead of chasing after them all our lives, that too was a huge advancement. But beyond the physical technological movements that are so readily apparent, there are ways of doing things mentally. That is to say, mental technologies. How many people have heard that if you are mad, you should count to 10? That is what I mean by mental technology. As time passes, and as such methods - such technologies - are improved, it is necessary to make sure that you yourself are high-tech, not just the physical world around you.

That is where this blog comes into play. I will be posting on what I have found and continue to find in the realm of technology both within and without.

If you are feeling a lack of clarity or drive in your life, then you have the opportunity to “update” and “install” new technologies that can make a huge difference. If you know what you should be doing but it somehow it never gets done and it’s not because the action itself is hard, but because you are fighting yourself every inch of the way, then you need to look at the technologies you are using and see what is tripping you up. As you improve your inner world, your outer world will begin to reflect these changes. The Law of Attraction will produce stronger results with a clearer, more powerful, and more focused self. The Law of Attraction has been discussed by many people recently, and you may already realize that most religions had a technology for using the Law of Attraction in place. Some call it “Prayer”. Many today call it “Magick”. The concept of Karma can also help you understand what I’m talking about. I am not trying to say what your religion should be; that is not really what I’m talking about. I’m talking about becoming who you are meant to be. I’m talking about maximizing your potential, so that your life is the best that you can imagine.
