Thanks for sharing!

I kinda figured that you would have a strong musical element to your downtime, but it's interesting just the same. I find that taking time to simply muse is very restorative for me as well, but I didn't think it would be "active" enough to put on my list.

Although I absolutely love working on my online project and spending time doing activities associated with it, sometimes the need to "break the habit" appears.

I have plenty of downtime activities, some of which are (in no exact order):

- Computer games. Economic simulations to be more precise. I just love building a business and then watch it take off!

- Mountain biking. Because I live in a mountainous region and there are plenty of mountains (all of them wild and unmanaged) to venture on. Good at clearing the mind.

- Music. Whether I'm mixing at some event, producing some mash-ups or simply listening, music plays a really big role in my life. In 70% of times, if I'm not "working," I'm doing something related to music.

- Movies & cartoons (the Simpsons). Watching a good movie can be a very pleasant thing to do. And sometimes there are plenty of things to learn from them!

- Daydreaming. I do a lot of this. :)
