Once again, it is time for some fun terms.

  •  Wall. A “wall” is a critical point of inner resistance after which it becomes exponentially harder to proceed. Most commonly, these walls exist in the very places we want to go, and it is this sudden increase in resistance which most commonly turns us away from what we want. In many cases, we aren’t even aware of the reaction
  • Shadow. A concept from Carl Jung, the Shadow is an archetype within each of us. The Shadow represents everything that we aren’t. Everything about ourselves that we deny or suppress lives in our Shadows. Many who work on self-development. While there are things in the Shadow that don’t necessarily serve you, denying them or suppressing them often works against you. Acceptance is generally considered the way to go.
  • Breath work. Breath work, logically enough, is working with your breathing. By taking control of your breathing, you gain a greater connection with your body/mind. This can be used as a meditation practice in itself. Breathwork that I have been working with recently is the Quantum Light Breath.
  • Reiki. Reiki literally means “Universal life force energy”. Believed by many to have originated in ancient India, its spread in the last 150 years is credited to Dr. Mikao Usui (Or Usui Mikao in the Japanese style of naming). It is a hands-on form of energy work, specifically meant for healing

That’s all for now, folks. I will of course be updating this as we go forwar.
