Ok, I admit it. I haven’t been officially tagged with the “edge meme“, but My Secret Spiritual Dance has been and that’s good enough for me. The principle is to draw out what bloggers themselves are learning. How they are growing and improving.

Write a post about your “learning edge” and what you’re into these days. Feel free to mention any books you’re reading, classes you’re taking, people you’re learning from or collaborating with, etc. Tell us about the gems you’re picking up, the fun you’re having, etc., especially if they’re shifting the way you look at what you do.

My edge currently is on a couple of different fronts. I had been burying a lot of pain from my past, and my development has progressed to the point where I can safely and successfully meet it and heal it. The prelude to the current chapter was when I started taking Reiki classes. As I write this I am preparing to take Reiki Master classes.

Part of what I have been healing is that when I was young I had an environment where it was fifty-fifty odds whether my intuitive gifts would be nurtured or shunned. I am learning to place more faith in myself and to really follow my heart with gusto :-)

I’ve had a couple of tools in this recently: Reiki, of course, but I have been learning and applying EFT techniques with some surprisingly good results. I have also been reading Sonia Choquette: Trust your Vibes and Ask your Guides. Both very good books.

I’ve also been reading other material recently: Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Stephen Covey, Tim Ferriss, and some Christopher Penczak. I’m a voracious reader and learning PhotoReading just added fuel to the fire. Nevertheless, my work recently has been on learning myself more and, by extension, healing myself.

What I find more and more is that as I let go of what was holding me back I find capabilities and resources within myself and (how else) around myself that I couldn’t have imagined. Obviously this edge is largely internal; the tide is just now starting to turn from the inner world to the outer one and I am very curious to see what this is going to be like.

So, two new victims: How about you, Titus-Armand? How about you, Jenny and Erin? I know I’d love to know where your “edges” are and I bet your readers would too!
