I just wrote a piece about how I found my purpose. The method I used was a combination of the two you listed. On the surface it looks like purely the intellectual process, but it has a much greater emphasis on paying attention to the emotional experience. I don&#039;t think I mentioned the last point of Steve&#039;s method, that of not being able to continue, however for me it was a matter of not *needing* to continue. Once I knew what it was, I didn&#039;t need to look anymore. And the certainty was so strong that I don&#039;t even feel the need to clearly define my purpose (though I have no doubt that I could if necessary).</description>
