I’m sorry I didn’t have my usual post on Friday, I’ve been making some adjustments to the site. I’ve made navigation a little easier by moving the navigation link to the previous post to the top of the post, so it’s easier to find. I’ve also recently set up the most popular posts in the sidebar, and included social bookmarking capabilities.
I’ve also been looking at where the site has come from and where it’s going. I started with no real release schedule, just posting when I can. Before long, I went to the “Monday Wednesday Friday” format. I’ve been feeling that going to “Monday through Friday” would provide better structure and make the site more accessible. Therefore as of Monday, that’s the new schedule.
Additionally, I’ve been thinking about how I’ve been presenting. I’ve been trying to keep my personal beliefs and such out in an effort to make the site more open to anyone who happens to drop in. I think that the unintended result is that my posts have been dry and impersonal.
Therefore, I’m going to share more of myself in the posts. In particular, I’m going to have two basic system requirements for most of the techs on this site: The belief or conception that we as humans are
not merely animated bodies, but spiritual beings who inhabit our bodies. Secondly, and stemming from the first one, we each came here with a purpose.
